Africa
There are 22 members within the Africa region with participation numbers growing in the continent, Namibia has continued to perform well particularly at Under 19 level, and there has been significant growth with a good level of dedicated support for a number of ICC members.
Americas
The Americas region has 16 members with growth and promotion plans for the region taking shape. Bermuda and Canada both have been strong consistent members in the region throughout the years, with Brazil growing cricket quickly through many social integration programmes.
Asia
There are 21 members of the ICC in the Asia region with Afghanistan taking the biggest strides over recent years out of all the Associate members, including strong performances at the global level from Oman. There have also been global development initiatives with Australia’s Meg Lanning visiting China to promote women’s cricket.
East-Asia Pacific
The East Asia Pacific territory is the smallest region with 11 members, but has shown a great deal of growth as a result of the ICC working closely with a number of the member federations including success on the field for Papua New Guinea and strong partnerships forged for Japan with the Australian government.
Europe
Europe as a region has the most number of members of the ICC, with 33 in total. There are varying degrees of growth across the membership in Europe outside of the Full Member England. From Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands striving for the top tier of Associate members across the globe, to the newest members Hungary and Serbia beginning to develop a fan base in non-traditional markets.
